Why Occupational Therapy in Schools?
EHCP OT provison is becoming increasingly harder for the NHS to provide on a consistent and ongoing basis at schools across the country. Added to this are the large number of children with undiagnosed neurological/learning conditions in mainstream schools and you have classrooms facing mounting difficulties and unhappy parents.
To address this, Healing Hands has been providing schools with their excellent brand of provate OT to deliver excellent provision for children with EHCP’s as well as assisting schools with their bespoke OT goals. Through our ongoing attention to ehancing our own educational base through studies and learning of the latest techniques, we are able to bring fresh, innovative and workable OT solutions to schools.
We assist rapidly with needs assessments, annual reviews, staff training and direct therapies to boost the outcomes for children, teachers and schools.
